Put a standard case in a corner and it points away from you. This one is built on the diagonal, so it faces into the room, and it runs to full height in one continuous frame.

Stand a tall Gundam at its full reach, or drop in a shelf and give each tier its own stage. At 1/12, that corner becomes a tower.
